ELEMENTAL LORD
Practitioners of the elemental colleges have found
a way to sharpen their skills and abilities by
undergoing training as an elemental lord. In order
for one to become an elemental lord they must first
be a hero and have 10 spells at rank 20. Once they
meet that requirement they must undergo a rite of
elemental bonding with a minor elemental. Mages
who undergo the ritual must roll under 4 X EN or
face death from the shock of the bond. They may of
course be resurrected, but the chance of bonding is
now reduced by 10%. If successful they gain special
abilities from the unique bond they now share with
their element.
