Eldritch warriors are trained to withstand the rigors
of combat and enter into the fray instead of standing
back casting spells from a safe position. Eldritch
warriors will not use shields or two hand weapons
because they keep one hand free for casting and the
other for fighting off opponents. Only mages may
become eldritch warriors.

Eldritch warriors add 3% per rank to their defense
when evading in melee combat.  Eldritch warriors add
2% per rank to their chance to strike with their
primary weapon. Eldritch warriors receive +1 to IV at
ranks 2, 4 ,6, 8 and 10. For the purposes of
determining IV Eldritch warriors combine Modified
AG+ Spell rank (If attacking with a spell) when fighting
someone in melee.  Addition strike with primary
weapon at rank 5.
   Eldritch warriors may move ½ their TMR and cast
spells as long as they do not become involved in an
engagement. When the make rank 6 they may move
their full TMR as long as they do not become
engaged in a melee conflict.
Eldritch warriors who manage to achieve a riposte may opt to cast a spell instead of striking an opponent.
(Spell must either be quick-cast or rank 20)

Paired offense: The Eldritch warrior may opt to melee attack and cast a spell in the same pulse once
they reach rank 3.  Casting a spell counts as one of the melee attacks.

Confined quarters: At rank 4 Eldritch warriors may cast spells in close combat if they roll under 4 X WP
and cast the spell in a single pulse.

Ironwill: At rank 6 Eldritch warriors can only lose concentration if they are killed, stunned or knocked out.  
At rank 8 they can use their ironwill ability in close combat.

Negate cold iron: Eldritch warriors may roll under 3 X MA +5% per rank to ignore the effects of a small
amount of cold iron. If successful they may still cast spells if their body is contact with cold iron weapons
such as arrows or other piercing weapons. This does not allow them to use regular armor or weapons.

Combat Mobility: At rank 6 an eldritch warrior may deflect thrown weapons:  4 X MD. Deflect missile
weapons at 3 X MD.  These rolls are made after a hit has been scored.

Weapon channel: At rank 10 an Eldritch warrior may channel a spell through his weapon (must be
magical in order to use this ability) and if successfully cast the spell damaged is added to the weapon
damage and may not be resisted. (Armor may absorb it)
