Giants are burly humanoids ranging from eight to twenty-three feet in height.
Within the giant race there are six species; Hill, Stone, Fire, Cloud, Frost, and
Storm.  Hill, Stone & Fire are usually between eight and eleven feet in height,
while Cloud, Frost and Storm are usually between seventeen and twenty feet in
height. Most giants dwell in mountainous areas and tend to dwell far away from
human settlements.  The exceptions to this are Fire and Stone giants.  Fire
giants dwell in desert areas while Stone giants can be found dwelling with
human settlements.  Most giants tend to enjoy life and prefer to go through life
brawling, drinking and wenching.  It is thought by most sages that stone and
cloud are the friendliest of the six giant species. Fire and frost giants have
been known to raid human settlements as well as other races that might live in
the region.  Storm giants tend to be the most reclusive and rarely have any
interactions with the other races.  Giants have been known to be very easy
going.  They often endure the torment of "lesser" races who are unworthy of
meriting a response.  Hill giants will readily pick upon smaller races and like to
throw their weight around more than the other giants.

1. Giants can see in the dark with infra-vision at 500 feet. This vision allows
them to see heat signatures of living beings and geo-thermal signatures from
other heat sources.  They cannot read or see fine details with this sight, but it
allows +15% to tracking any being with a heat signature.
2. Giants have twice the carrying capacity that their great strength already
allows.
3. Giants may use two weapons of their choice at ½ the required exp. cost.
4. Stone giants may detect irregularities in stonework at 7 X PC.
5. Stone and Frost giants may hurl boulders at +10% to strike and +3 added to
damage, range is tripled as well.
6. Fire giants are immune to natural fires and suffer half damage from magical
fires caused by spells or other attacks.
7. Cloud and Frost giants are immune to extreme cold temperature and suffer
half damage from air magics or cold based attacks.
8. Giants add 20% to their resistance when attacked by their own element, but
subtract 20% to their resistance when attacked by their opposite element. This
does not apply to hill or storm giants.
9. Giants may choose any one skill at 3/4 the required exp. cost.
10. Storm giants have the talent of controlling storms like the ritual in the
College of Air Magics.
11. Cloud, Frost and Storm giants are three hex creatures.
12. Giants make one roll on the bogey table.
