Avians are similar to humans in build with the exception that they have a large wings
isolated communities in mountainous or costal regions. They avoid contact with most
of the other races.  Avians tend to associate with elves and cloud giants more
frequently than other races.  They prefer the open and wilderness to going into
considered as rivals to elves in ability. Avians tend to live about 800 years.
1. Avians fly at twice their ground TMR.
2. Avians receive Ranger at ½ the required exp. cost.  They must specialize in plains,
or mountains.
3. Avians receive Spy at ½ the required exp. cost.
4. Avians may use one bow at ½ the required exp. cost, 10% to strike. They do not
receive any penalties for using a bow while in flight.
5. Avians add 15% to their ability to detect an ambush, 25% if they are flying above
the opponent.
6. Avians may detect hidden opponents when flying over an opponent at (6 x PC) -5
x the opponents rank as spy or thief.
7. When avians reach maximum rank with any class A weapon they may pick a spot
on the opponent as their target.  If they hit they will strike that spot.  See the special
grievous table for the effect of choosing a particular spot.  This ability does not effect
opponents taller than eight feet in height.  If the character scores an endurance hit, it
will hit the desired area of a target of any size.
8. Avians may communicate with birds as the spell in Air Magics.  They may acquire
rank in this spell, but it functions as a talent for them.  Exp. 100 per rank
9. Avians make one roll on the bogey table.
