General Knowledge Spell
1. Spell of Bolt making (G-1) RANGE: 5 feet DURATION: 1 minute EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 100 BASE CHANCE: 40%. EFFECTS: The shaper can make 1 arrow, bolt or bullet per rank in the spell. The bolts disintegrate after the minute has passed.
2. Spell of Trinket creation (G-2) RANGE: 5 feet DURATION: 1 minute + 1 per every two ranks EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 150 BASE CHANCE: 50% EFFECTS: The shaper can make a simple item such as a wooden ring, piece of paper, handkerchief, or simple piece of clothing. The shaper cannot make dried plants, poisons or other items that have special secondary effects.
3. Spell of Grease (G-3) RANGE: 10 feet + 10 per rank DURATION: 10 minutes + 1 per rank EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 250 BASE CHANCE: 35% RESIST: May not be resisted. EFFECTS: The shaper is able to coat the ground with a layer of grease covering 1 hex and an additional hex for every 5 ranks. Anyone stepping in these hexes must roll under 2 X AG or fall prone, if success they move at 1/3 movement rate across the greased surface. The shaper may also grease a rope, ladder rung, weapon handle and so on. If cast on an item held in hand the item has the resistance of the person touching it. Hand held items can only be held if the persons rolls under 2 X MD.
4. Spell of Firefall {G-4) RANGE: 20 feet +5 per rank DURATION: Immediate EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 200 BASE CHANCE: 40% RESIST: May not be resisted. EFFECTS: The shaper is able to make fire fall within two adjacent hexes that do D5+2 damage, ½ if resisted. Flammable object have a 50% chance of catching flame.

Spell of ecto-plasmic cocoon (G-5) RANGE: 20 feet + 20 feet per rank DURATION: 30 seconds per rank EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 350 BASE CHANCE: 30% EFFECTS: The shaper is able to wrap up an opponent like a mummy. The subject can breath, but can do nothing else. The subject cannot speak nor do anything to break free unless it has a PS of 25 or greater. In which case the creature can try to roll under PS to break out of the cocoon. Someone may try to assist someone in a cocoon by cutting the cocoon for 20 or more points of damage.
6. Spell of Ectowall creation (G-6) RANGE: 20 feet + 10 additional/Rank DURATION: 10 minutes + 10 additional/Rank EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 250 BASE CHANCE: 25% RESIST: May not be resisted. EFFECTS: The Adept may create a wall 2 feet thick, 10 feet tall and 20 feet long or a ring 2 feet thick, 10 feet tall and with a 5 foot radius or a pillar 15 feet high and 4 feet thick made of ecto-plasmic matter. He may increase any dimension by 1 foot per Rank. This spell may not be cast on top of characters. The walls absorbs 50 points of damage +5 per rank and is immune to Class C and takes ½ damage from A & B.
7. Spell of weapon creation (G-7) RANGE: 5 feet DURATION: 1 minute + 1 per rank EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 300 BASE CHANCE: 30% EFFECTS: The shaper can create a weapon made of ectoplasm that appear and function like a normal weapon, at ranks 11 – 15 it functions as an improved weapon with +5% +1 damage, at rank 16 -20 it functions as magic weapon +10% +3 damage.
8. Shape of Shaping Matter (G-8) RANGE: 10 feet DURATION: 30 minutes +30 per rank EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE: 200 BASE CHANCE: 40% EFFECTS: The shaper can create non-magical, unattended objects of nonliving, vegetable matter: linen clothing, rope, a wooden ladder and so on. The volume of the item created cannot exceed more than 1 cubic foot per rank. The items created must be familiar to the shaper, otherwise he or she has nothing to pattern the item off of.
1. Ritual of Construct Summoning (Q-1) This ability allows the psion to call forth ectoplasm into the form of an entity that may be directed by the psion to attack, defend or do various actions. The following chart defines the various attributes of the constructs that are available to summon.
These attributes apply to a construct fashioned at rank 1. For each rank gained in the ability the construct adds 3 to PS, 2 to EN & FT, 2 to defense, and 3% to its attack. Damage goes up 1 every 2 ranks and the construct gains an extra attack at ranks 5, 10, & 15. The range is increased by 5ft per rank and the TMR increases by 1 every other rank. The Construct may be endowed with certain abilities. Special abilities may be added for additional cost.
It should be remember that the construct has no intelligence of its own and acts under the direction of the shaper that created it. The psion has a mental link to the construct and as such can suffer terrible effects if the construct is destroyed. The psion must choose one of these resistances. If a construct is destroyed the psion must roll under 3 X WP or will become unconscious for D +1 minutes. The ritual cost 500 experience per rank and the construct will remain one day per rank or until dismissed or destroyed.
