The season of Spring begins on the first day of Lutre. This day is
considered a high holiday for the powers of Light. The second and
third of Lutre are a continuation of the holiday celebrating the power
and protection of Lutredomus, Lord of Light.
The month of Gro-it marks the beginning of summer. The 17th of
Gro-it is a holiday in celebration of the growing harvest and the
promise of plentiful food to last through the harsh winter. The
Goddess of the Harvest, Daelan-theil is celebrated this day.
Shadowfall: the 15th and 16th of Bounthar are remembered as days of
mourning and grieving for the powers of Light. Sagnar the Lord of the
Sea and Lomandra the Queen of the Moon were slain by Noctornalis
eons ago. Both Gods were destroyed, and their domains became
dominated by evil.
Harvestor 1st is the beginning of Autumn.
The 26th through the 29rd is the feast of Season’s End and a feast
for the powers of light.
The month of Darkcrest marks the beginning of High Winter. The 24th
is a feast for the powers of Light in celebration of the victory of Thaltain
over Pyremius, who was destroyed and is no more.
The 15th of Light' s End is a feast for the powers of Darkness who
celebrate the growing days of darkness that will rapidly follow after
this day.
The beginning of Deep Winter starts with the 1st of
Nightsreign.
Darkrule, the 7th through the 24th is the high feast for the powers of
Darkness. These three weeks of darkness see no light from the sun.
These weeks see the appearance of many races that dwell below the
earth, that plunder and destroy the upper world.
The 1st of Coldvar marks the beginning of Low winter. The 29th of
Coldvar through the 1st of Mordav are feast days for the Powers of
Darkness in celebration of Frothbazoss and Voalphon whose efforts
bring cold and hunger to the world.
The month of Mordav is a month of storms that brightly light the
darkness and is seen as a sign of lights return. The 27th is the feast
of Mordav.
